1.?Tell us about your job at Storopack.??
I manage the Marketing & Communications for North American Business Unit Packaging Division. I've been with Storopack for 10+ years and 6 years in the Marketing Department working from Cincinnati, Ohio which is the North American Headquarters. I was recently promoted to Product Promotion Manager for AIRplus? and Loose Fill in addition to my current role of Marketing Manager.?
2.?What does a typical working day look like??
It's never typical. Lots of reading, research, and collaboration. One minute I'm presenting to a client about Storopack's vision and strategy, next minute I'm collaborating on new product flyers, video, social content, and web pages. Outside of the internal and external meetings, I'm reading up on industry trends, competition announcements, and consumer voice.?
3.?What do you particularly like about your role??
I enjoy conceptual thinking, content creation, and strategic communication. Although, it's a very challenging role, I enjoy communicating a message or strategy that impacts our company internally and externally with our clients.?
4.?What drives you to work in your area of responsibility??
This sounds cliche, especially for our industry, but "thinking outside the box." It's not easy market Loose Fill peanuts or AIRplus? void. However, coming up with different ways to communicate the important role they play for protective packaging, improving customer experience, and tying that into sustainability is rewarding.
5.?What qualities do you most often need at work and why???
Independence, creativity, self-motivated, observant, critical thinking, visual learner, discipline to our values, understanding customer needs and competition, market trends, multi-task multiple projects, and adaptable.?

6.?What excites you most about Storopack as an employer??
Freedom, flexibility, and input. Not many BIG companies value employee input, but Storopack does.?
7.?If you had to describe Storopack in three words, which would it be??
Ever evolving company.?
8.?What advice would you give young professionals in your job??
Don't volunteer for projects...they will come.
9.?What can you definitely not go without in your work day??
Webex or any virtual meeting room.?
10. What hobbies / things do you like to do that make you YOU?
Yoga, I'm a certified yoga instructor. I practice daily. Sports, love competing and watching my kids play and compete. Food is life... I love to cook and eat.
