1.?Tell us about your job at Storopack.?

Daily tasks include working with end users on projects, assisting distribution partners in accounts, projects and prospects. Pricing and presenting proposals of our material or service. Working in the sales division of Storopack is never the same there is always something new or challenging that makes my job fulfilling. Working in Utah I do not have a location I work out of (aside from my home or car) but the plants that I pull material from are Downey, California and Kent, Washington. I have been fortunate enough to work for Storopack for close to 3 years!

2.?What does a typical working day look like?

I usually start my day attempting to clear any flagged emails or unanswered emails with a large mug of tea. After breakfast it's either jumping in the car for appointments, visits or presentations or heading to my home office to work on clerical work and make calls to my internal and external groups.

3.?What do you particularly like about your role??

I love that I get the chance to see a wide array of products. In one day I can go from a meat processing plant, candle manufacturer, essential oil company and end with finding a place for our material in these spaces. It's ever-changing and moving in the packaging world. I am a strong believer in if you're not learning you're losing and I am always learning with this role. With the autonomy that Storopack gives us I can venture out and create some really great things within my territory with our partners and distributors.

4.?What drives you to work in your area of responsibility?

The freedom that I am given by the company should never be taken advantage of. I strive every day to put my best foot forward and feel accomplished on my own terms. I am grateful for what Storopack has provided me and my family these last few years and feel my territory, in a whole, can speak for how responsibly I am working.?

5.?What qualities do you most often need at work and why?

A drive to perform at my highest level. I am constantly challenging myself to learn and make the best out of a situation, sometimes with support from my boss - Kyle Reynolds or other peers. Patience in the process is something I am working hard to believe in.?

6.?What excites you most about Storopack as an employer?

I get the feeling they truly care about us - employees. I have worked for several large companies in the past that claim this. Storopack is an example of a company that chooses employees over most things.

7.?If you had to describe Storopack in three words, which would it be?

Strong, innovative, prideful.?

8.?What advice would you give young professionals in your job??

Lean on your peers for wisdom and guidance at Storopack. Learn your role and find the answers you ask yourself, they're out there. We may not have the smoothest process in the industry but you can pick up the phone and call anyone in the company to find what you're looking for. That's special.?

9.?What can you definitely not go without in your work day?

Calling Kyle Reynolds and telling him something about my day. He is a great person to bounce ideas off of or speak to challenges that I may have.

10. What hobbies / things do you like to do that make you YOU?

I love spending time with my family. I have an amazing wife (Jenna) and two boys, Lucas (5yr) and Theodore (3yr). Now that the country is opening back up we have been exploring our beautiful state - Utah. We just got back from an amazing trip to Arches National Park.?

I just started playing the guitar. My wife got me one for my birthday this last year. I am learning dexterity is not one of my strengths.?

We love going on walks with our, very loud, Bloodhounds!

I would like to mention that I am only as good as the team around me. I have an amazing group of people that support my territory and Storopack's interests. Kyle Reynolds, Megan Quick, Emily Cain and especially Matt Peterson. Matt has managed our territory on the service side with laser accuracy and pride, all of our customers know him well and know he puts their minds at ease knowing he is a phone call away if something goes sideways.?
