10 questions for Leonie Heinrich
At Storopack work 2,430 employees at 68 locations in 19 countries. In our "10 questions ..." series, employees from different areas of the company share insights into their everyday work. Today, Leonie Heinrich tells us what drives her as a Trainee Business Administration-Digital Business Management and what makes work at Storopack special for her.?
1.?Tell us about your job at Storopack.?
I have been with Storopack since the end of 2019. In my dual study program, I go through many commercial departments as well as digitization-related departments such as Corporate IT or E-Commerce in Hamburg. In the departments, I often get to accompany exciting projects, which I really enjoy.
2.?What does a typical working day look like?
That depends on whether I'm in a theoretical or practical phase. During a theoretical phase, I study at the dual university in Stuttgart. There we usually have two lectures in one day. The theoretical phases are intended to prepare me for practical work at Storopack. In these so-called practical phases, I'm in a department at Storopack, I'm trained there and work on day-to-day tasks or projects.
3.?What do you particularly like about your role?
A clear advantage of the dual study program is the combination of theory and practice. I also really like the course of study, which is geared toward the future. I have the feeling that business people who are well versed in some of the topics of digitization are well equipped for the future.
4.?What drives you to work in your area of responsibility?
On the one hand, of course, the completion of my studies. But on the other hand also the colleagues I get to work with to achieve a goal.
5.?What qualities do you most often need at work and why?
Language skills, because Storopack is represented worldwide and as a student you also have contact with colleagues abroad from time to time. Creativity, because I really enjoy creative work and you can bring this into almost every department in some way. Of course, you also need a certain amount of discipline to get through your studies.

So many different people work together here and each individual is valued. In addition, Storopack encourages its employees so that each individual can become even better if he or she wants to.
7.?If you had to describe Storopack in three words, which would it be?
Imaginative, collegial, versatile.
8.?What advice would you give young professionals in your job??
Dare! It's really fun and I'm glad I chose this path.
9.?What can you definitely not go without in your work day??
Many would probably immediately note "coffee!" here. Since I am not so much of a coffee drinker, I would say:?Sweets for in between & the exchange with colleagues.
10. What hobbies / things do you like to do that make you YOU??
I play in a theater and I like to bake and to travel.
