Hello everyone and welcome to a new edition of our Community Newsletter - let's see what the Community of Practice has been up to recently! ??
EU Innovation Radar
We are incredibly excited to announce that the OMiLAB Digital Innovation Environment (DIEn) has been selected for publication on the EU Innovation Radar under the Horizon project FAIRWork! ?? The Innovation Radar is a European Commission initiative to identify high-potential innovations and innovators in EU-funded research and innovation projects. Independent experts gather data and review ongoing projects, from which they select the best innovations. The aim is to encourage the development of a dynamic ecosystem of incubators, entrepreneurs, funding agencies, and investors that can help get EU-funded innovations to market faster. Check out the radar here.

OMiLAB@Harokopio University of Athens
Our first node in Greece, namely at the Harokopio University of Athens has been set up this summer, and now you can read all about it at https://www.omilab.org/omilab_nodes/HUA/
Prof. Mara Nikolaidou and Assoc. Prof. Cleopatra Bardaki lead the node at HUA, which aims to support students and researchers in developing ideas and respective models that implement digitization of processes in business and social contexts. More specifically, they will be able to propose, model, and test in lab environment innovative systems, services, and products that utilize state-of-the-art technologies such as IoT, AI etc.
It is our pleasure to have them join the OMiLAB Network of Nodes and if you are in Athens or nearby, don't hesitate to contact them!
OMiLAB-KNOW Workshop at BIR2024
In September, Robert Andrei Buchmann and Emanuele Laurenzi organized the 2nd Workshop on Domain-specific Modeling Methods and Tools - OMiLAB Nodes experience & knowledge exchange (OMILAB-KNOW) at BIR Business Informatics Research Conference . ??
?? Different researchers from the Community of Practice had a chance to present their recent findings and exchange knowledge from their model-driven innovation projects.
?? You can find the workshop's proceedings here.
