Last month, we closed our 10th new investment in Israeli startups since the start of 2024, in addition to eight follow-ups. That’s a total of 18 investments in Israeli companies since the start of this year – all in companies where we wrote the first check.

The Fusion CTO Community is Growing FAST?

Technical leaders are crucial to a startup's success but often receive less attention than CEOs. We're addressing this gap by building a vibrant platform where they can learn, network with like-minded individuals, and discuss challenges openly.?

We launched the Fusion CTO and R&D Leaders community eight months ago with about 50 members. Since then, it’s grown to 527 tech leaders—from garage-stage ideas to teams that have recently raised their first rounds to late-stage companies. Interestingly, we've noticed that even post-exit entrepreneurs are joining our events to mentor, share their insights, and simply be part of the community.

Over the past months, we've organized four high-impact events featuring some of the most influential voices in the industry and learnings from companies that have raised hundreds of millions of dollars. These included:

• A launch breakfast to kickstart the community
• An online webinar focused on team management in crisis situations
• An evening cocktail networking event
• Our latest event centered on AI, featuring roundtable discussions on various tech topics

Batch #14 is Cleared for Takeoff!

Speaking of being open for business, the next batch of Fusion companies has officially launched. The newest additions to the Fusion family will start with an intensive boot camp in Tel Aviv, where they’ll learn practical skills and best practices from other entrepreneurs and get to know some of the key figures in Israeli tech. Later, the same group will join us for the second leg of the boot camp, which will take place in New York and California. Good luck to all involved!

Showcasing Israeli Innovation to American Investors

Last month, we hosted a special dinner at BarZola in Palo Alto, where we connected promising Israeli startups with our US investor network. The event featured delicious cuisine, exquisite wine, and fantastic company. What more can you ask for?

• Upword, developers of an AI-powered research companion, completed a $3M pre-seed round led by Telefonica, GoAhead Ventures, Goodwater Capital & private investors.
• Acsense advanced to the last round of the European Innovation Council Accelerator applications program after delivering a final pitch in Brussels. The company has also been seeing good traction with enterprise customers in the United States, closing major new deals.
• NewHedge, the Bitcoin intelligence platform, completed a Bitcoin-focused accelerator program in NYC, securing $250k in funding, following significant ARR growth.
