Electric Cars - Maybe you've already made the move away from ICE (Internal combustion engine) vehicles or maybe the move is in sight for later this year. Whether you are running a fleet of cars for your business or you have a personal car for all manor of tasks, the choice to go electric poses plenty of opportunity for reduced running costs
Number 10: BMW i4. BMW's i4 is a mid-sized electric sports sedan that embodies the brand's traditional values and is targeted toward the business sector. If I am honest, I don't love the look of it, but then I don't "Love" the look of any of the modern BMW's, but style is subjective and beaty is in the eye of teh beholder. It offers a sportier alternative to other mid-sized EVs, making it a serious contender in a competitive market
Number 9: BMW i3. There is no surprise that BMW makes the list twice, but its also no surprise they are 9 and 10 respectively. Definitely not the cheapest, but certainly some of the best. The BMW i3 is actually no longer available to order from new, but still ranks 9th in search for electric car buyers.
Number 8. Hyundai Ioniq 5. Looks: Stunning. Range: Stunning (295 miles) Price: Competitive. If you see one on the road then you will absolutely look twice. Hyundai does ok in the UK but the Ioniq 5 does exceptionally well in the US market too.
Number 7. Polestar 2. The journey for Polestar I believe is only just beginning. If you don't know much about them, you may remember the brand name from a few sporty tuned Volvo's from yesteryear. The Polestar 2 is hugely popular

Number 6. Tesla Model S. One of the first and still makes our list for most popular electric car searches. Looks wise you are flying through space with this one, futuristic and one of the first. Is it the cheapest? No. Is it the best? No. Is it still hugely popular? Yes.
Number 5. Porsche Taycan (Pictured) It wasn't so long ago I spotted one on the road for the first time, from the back the looks are a solid Porsche 9.5/10, but the side view has far less of the same impact. Wait, did we say the basic model is 408HP? Ok that helps a bit. Pricing for the Taycan is quite obviously top rates.
Number 4. Kia EV6. WOW! That is one good looking Kia. Yeh you read that right, good looking Kia. The pictures actually do not do it justice, this is a big vehicle but still drags 328 mile range and over 220HP. Move a side Kia Stinger, the EV6 is now the best vehicle in the Kia range.
Number 3. Nissan Leaf. Oh Nissan, how is this model still being made? Yeh its affordable, but the range is very average, power is very average, looks are.. well... below average. Yet the Nissan Leaf still appeals to many and is the second highest manufacturer on our most searched list.
Number 2. Tesla Model Y. We are actually a little surprised this ranks so highly. Tesla call this a crossover SUV, which is just about justifiable. Following Tesla's big price drops at the start of 2023 the model Y has shot up in popularity, and access to the UK Tesla Supercharger network obviously contributes.
Number 1. Tesla Model 3. This one bears no surprise. Elon has ticked all the boxes with the Model 3, its stylish, affordable, has great range, great power, great options to customise and did we say its affordable? Yes, we did. Available as an RWD, Long Range, or Performance, the model 3 is leading the way
