I'm So Busy...

Man, I wish I had more time in my day...

How am I going to accomplish ALL that I need to do?!!

WE have all been there...

Heck, YOU may be there RIGHT NOW...

I am admittedly someone with undiagnosed ADD...

And I can be "all over the place..."

Nonetheless, as a Certified Mental Performance Coach I need to be organized, structured and efficient with my time and productivity...

What I'm sharing with YOU today are 10 Mental Shift Hacks that have helped me (and many others) develop a MINDSET & PLAN for MASTERING the MOMENTS in my Day...

All of this is Centered around TARGETING Your INTENTIONALITY...

Start with a choice of Intentionality and then PLANNING Your Tomorrow - TONIGHT!!

10 Mental Shift Hacks:

BELOW are EXAMPLES that can be tailored to fit your day to day situations...

1. Goal-Oriented Approach: "Today, I intend to complete the research for the upcoming presentation by 12 PM and draft the first two slides. I'll allocate the afternoon to review and refine the content to ensure it's comprehensive and engaging."

2. Task-Focused Plan: "My intention for the day is to tackle the top three priorities on my to-do list: finalize the budget report, respond to important client emails, and schedule a team meeting to discuss project timelines."

3. Time-Blocking Strategy: "I've blocked out the morning hours for concentrated work on the marketing campaign strategy. In the afternoon, I'll shift my focus to collaborate with the design team on creating visuals that align with our messaging."

4. Mindful Scheduling: "Today's intention is to practice mindful scheduling. I will allocate 25 minutes for focused work, followed by a 5-minute break to stretch and recharge. This cycle will help me maintain productivity and prevent burnout."

5. Learning and Growth: "I'm setting the intention to dedicate at least 30 minutes today to learn a new skill. I'll explore online tutorials for graphic design, as it will complement my role and expand my expertise."

6. Work-Life Balance: "My intention for the day is to leave work by 5:30 PM. To achieve this, I'll prioritize tasks, delegate where possible, and avoid getting caught up in minor tasks that can be handled tomorrow."

7. Positive Mindset: "Today, I intend to approach challenges with a positive mindset. If unexpected obstacles arise, I will view them as opportunities to learn and grow, rather than as setbacks."

8. Health and Well-Being: "My focus today is on my well-being. I intend to take a 15-minute walk during lunch, opt for a nutritious meal, and practice deep breathing exercises to stay grounded and reduce stress."

9. Meaningful Connections: "I'm setting the intention to foster meaningful connections with my team members today. I'll initiate short check-in conversations, actively listen to their insights, and offer support where needed."

10. Creativity and Innovation: "Today, I'm challenging myself to think creatively. I'll set aside time to brainstorm new ideas for our product line and encourage my team to share their innovative suggestions as well." ==================================================

Remember, the key to articulating clear intentions is to be specific, actionable, and realistic. Setting intentions in this manner helps guide your actions throughout the day and ensures that you're making progress toward your goals.

What I LOVE about this List...

Is I get to be DELIBERATE with my Intentions and use this as a MENTAL CHECKLIST for my Daily Agenda...

Often it helps jog my mind into prioritizing my day and keeps me on point with not only a greater sense of priority but also an increased sense of efficiency and productivity...

At the end of the Day, I'm able to QUICKLY EVALUATE and ask myself TWO Questions...

  1. What can I adjust in my Schedule Tomorrow ? (Plan for tomorrow Tonight)
  2. What did I do well? (Journal it)

It really doesn't take long at all each night as it rolls from one day to the next and when one of the 10 Mental Shift Hacks does not apply, I don't sweat it and feel freed up to accomplish more, even if it's just more reflection or rest.
