The morning of Thursday, the 8th of Sept 2022, announced itself as a historic moment in British history. It marked the end of Queen Elizabeth's reign after ruling almost two generations of England. She was there during World War 2, the Vietnam War, the moon landing, Chernobyl, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the 11th of Sept, and the most recent one---COVID-19. Her absence after all this time feels strange to the future citizens of England.
Not just the citizens of Great Britain but people around the globe admired and loved the Queen due to her spark of personality. As 'Her Queen Majesty' left the world of mortals, she left behind her rich legacy and qualities. From her 70 years of rule, two entire generations learned essential leadership traits, and there is more to take from her personality and be better:
1.?Delegation
Trust builds a significant community foundation and ensures someone's position of respect. Queen Elizabeth II formed a relationship with many people, and that's how she became a reliable leader. She did not enforce her beliefs and judgment on others, yet she listened and willing to improve. She always discusses the importance of interfaith harmony as she highly respects others. She has always welcomed the leaders of various faiths and denominations to attend royal ceremonies.
2.?Integrity
Queen Elizabeth II stepped onto the pedestal of Queen of England at age 25. She devoted her entire life to England's well-being and presented herself with a strong sense of purpose, faith in a higher force, and confidence in herself. It reflected her trust in her choices, and her actions resulted from her compassion and understanding of nature. She had the mental fortitude necessary to make the challenging, unpopular decisions because she knew what she was doing was morally correct, even when it was challenging.
3.?Influence
The Queen sought solitude in nature to rejuvenate her from her hectic and demanding existence. Numerous studies have shown that being outside has positive effects on our well-being. The recent degradation of the environment and trauma to Mother nature has long been a serious concern. So, the Queen supported Mother nature, influencing everyone to be more aware of the issues.
4.?Building Connections
Queen Elizabeth II wasn't like any mother or grandmother. She had a massive support network behind her, which grew through mutual trust when she built meaningful connections for Britain's future. She has shown the importance of relationship-building skills as she was given support whenever needed.
?5.?Sense of Humour
In the public's eye, she seemed to be a serious and strict ruler. However, in private, she is widely known for her sense of humor and witty comments that make people feel at ease with her presence. A true leader should not make others feel frightened but shows respect.
6.?Empathy
She faced numerous challenging familial and Commonwealth difficulties during her rule. She eventually understood that it was best to move swiftly.

Her Highness had to carefully strike a balance between looking out for her children and grandchildren and doing what was suitable for her nation. Of course, her country always came first, so she had to manage complex family conflicts to avoid negative attention from the media.
7.?Learning Agility
Seven decades of social, political, and personal transformation are woven into the Queen's reign. She has adapted to changes through generations and fits in to ensure that the Royalties are loved by many. It is not easy to be loved by people of every age, but the Queen did it by learning how to fit in and make people comfortable around her.
8.?Self-Awareness
Despite being a Queen at a young age, Queen Elizabeth II never tried to represent herself and be someone she wasn't. She might have easily exercised absolute dominance by dominating discussions, asserting her authority, or making her physical presence known. She also refrained from using her wealth and influence to demean other people.
She exhibited love, direction, decency, understanding, and respect during her tenure as a leader. At the beginning of her rule, feminine leadership traits were unquestionably not skills valued in a leader, but she changed the citizens' perception of England.
?9.?Never Give up
Queen Elizabeth II did not engage in hearsay, politics, or other frivolities since she was staunch and unwavering in her views. She did not let others influence her views on serious issues and stayed firm on her beliefs.
10.?Value Mental Health
Despite her reputation for stoicism, the Queen never took her mental health for granted. The Queen remained cautious about her mental health by juggling work (sifting through a sizable red box full of documents) and life (making time for walking her Corgis, visiting her horses, and eating raspberry jam sandwiches).
Wrapping Up
There is much to learn from Queen Elizabeth II's 70 years of rule. She has always been loved by many. The Queen was a trusted and capable leader and would continue to have a place in everyone's memory.?
