None of these tools would do the writing for you. I write all my content myself because it keeps the creative, and customers in mind, so I can’t give tips on tools that do the writing for you.
All of these tools can only make you a better writer, not make you a writer.
So if you don’t know how to write, then these tools would be of no real help to you.
I don’t use most of these tools on a daily basis but when I have a content or copy, I need perfection on I use these tools as due.
Okay, enough of the disclaimers let dive into my 10 irrationally cool tools that can make you a better writer.
We all agree that the hardest part of writing a content and, especially, a copy is writing the headline.?
You want to make your headline attention grabbing and curiosity piquing.
You know all the rules of headlines, especially the 4Us, but you still end up writing a sloppy headline that can’t get a cat curious.
That’s why you need to start using this tool, because it analyzes your headline for you; tell you what you are missing and how you can increase your score, thus improving your headline.
According to Headline Analyzer’s Headline Score the headline of this newsletter ranks 88%.
(It can also check for SEO Score but you'll have to pay subscription fee)
#2 Thesaurus :?
The best way to improve your headline and better your content, and copy, is with the use of power words.?
Power words are uncommon words that people don’t see daily. These words are not big grammars that need a dictionary to understand, but they are not used as often.?
Such as using Unrivaled instead of Great, these power words jolt your readers awake and get them to actually read your content, or copy.?
You can call these power words synonyms, and Thesaurus can give you tens of synonyms for different words.
Did you notice the ‘irrationally’ in my headline? All the way from Thesaurus.
Do you also find it difficult to follow the common editing rules such as use less adverbs, don’t write in passive voice, make your content easy to read even a 5 year old kid can understand, etc?
Then Hemmingwayapp is for you. All you have to do is copy and paste your content on the site and it will tell you the readability of your content and highlight your blunders.
#4 Voice Aloud Reader:
It takes reading your content aloud to hear how it flows but sometimes, I tend to read my content and blind myself against loopholes it might have. Do you do this too?
That’s why you need an app that can read it out loud to you. I listem my books and novels with @voice and also use it to read my content out loud and see where I wrinkle my nose for comprehension.
You can download this on your Google Playstore or Appstore.

#5 Buzzsumo ;
This is mostly useful for blog writers, but you can take inspiration from blog posts that have the most social shares?
And if a blog post gets shared by visitors to their social media accounts that means the post is hot and stunning.
You only have to write your topic search and the lists are here.
#6 Answer The Public ;
You won’t always know what to write, that’s why you need to research.?
Answer The Public lets you in on questions that you can answer in your content.?
All you can do is to search for keywords and all the questions would be right before you.
Do you want to know which keywords work the best for which industry? This is a tool you should be using.?
Enter a keyword, choose an industry and a country, then click on a new search.
You would find different keywords related to your search, its monthly search volume and how competitive the keyword is.?
Always go for keywords with low competition and high search volume.
#8 Google Doc;
If you want to proofread with ease and that too for free, Google doc is for you.
Open a document and paste your content, you can even write your content there, blue and red lines underneath your text shows your spelling errors, which you can correct by clicking on the text and picking the right word.
Or you can correct all the mistakes by clicking on Spellcheck and correcting as due.
You don’t want to be called out for plagiarism and that’s why you need this tool.?
It would analyze every sentence of your content and tell you which sentence is unique and which is plagiarized?
You don’t really have to take the percentage to heart, just stroll down to sentence wise results and check each sentence’s uniqueness.
This post, for example, has 69% uniqueness, even though the only plagiarized sentence here is ‘Until next time, bye for now’.?
But its advantage is that it does not have a word limit and it can also tell you a little about your keywords’ word density.
# 10 Pure Writer;
If you are like me and always keep forgetting to save your content before you exit your writing app, then you need a pure writer.
It is pure and so daring, and would always save every word you write immediately you exit the app (as many things as you exit), it also has a Trash can for where any content you delete ‘lives’.
Download the app on playstore or iOS and start enjoying unsaved content.
Okay, those are my 10 irrationally cool tools that can make you a better writer seamlessly.
