These kinds of sensors are critical for UK Defence. The trick is to get these kind of start-ups the right access so they can actually sell into the MOD.

This could be controversial, however, we didn't ban apple when everyone got a smartphone and started giving all our data to the USA. Now we are giving our data to the Chinese via tik tok and dji, whilst still giving our data to the USA...... Just a thought, also, none of those start ups are in the same market as DJI, none are fully funded, profitable or capable of mass production, development or strong market penetration. They are fantastic in their singular fields and excellent technology demonstrators, but if they can't ship 1000-10k units I think they may struggle to get to the cost profile that makes them affordable.
