Starting on Salesforce Trailhead
Here I was…. with zero badges and one validated skill… trying to figure out: where should I go and?why, but most importantly which path will actually take me to the destination of my choosing? Below is an actual screenshot of my Trailhead profile four weeks ago.
Today, things look a bit different, I must say, and that is why on this beautiful Monday evening, I am writing this tip-sheet, hoping to encourage and empower you if you’re a Salesforce newbie, overwhelmed at a crossroads, staring at 278.5 paths, trying to figure out where to go and how to get there.
After?completing 15 trails and earning 108 badges with a total of 50,000 points and a Ranger rank in four weeks , I have many helpful tips to share, but let me start with the ten I originally shared after two weeks of Salesforce Bootcamp two weeks ago.

#3. Get a mentor by?registering to be a mentee ?and you’ll be matched with an experienced mentor for 30 days (you both can continue beyond through)

#6. Join?virtual community events ?all over the globe to immerse yourself in the Salesforce universe and connect with the likeminded people

It’s a 5.5-hour live (non-recorded) event that has everything you need to equip you for passing your Salesforce Admin exam. I signed up for a few: in my time zone and not in my time zone (yes, I’ll be waking up at 3 am on a Monday and staying up all night on a Sunday just for the sake of attending the Cert Days, call me crazy!).
