5. No Advertising: WhatsApp has a no-advertising policy. This means that, unlike many other social media platforms, you won't see ads while using the app.
6. WhatsApp co-founder, Brian Acton, applied for a job at Facebook in 2009 but got rejected. He then went on to create WhatsApp, which was later acquired by Facebook for $19 billion in 2014.
