Moving on, we celebrated World Mental Heath Day on 10th Oct. But, mental health should be a priority every day, and the government of India is taking steps to reduce the stigma around mental health and encourage people to seek help. In the 2023 budget, rupees 40 crores has been allocated to the National Mental Health Program, which offers 90% of the country's mental health services.?
While we are talking about mental health, a new survey has revealed that 38% Indian women struggle with their mental health due to toxic relationships. The survey also found that while 59% of the respondants confide in their parents, only 29% confide in their siblings and just 31% confide in their partners if they were to undergo therapy.
