Many degenerative diseases, including diabetes, cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, arthritis, gall stones, Alzheimer's Diseases, etc. could be traced to excess acidity (toxic) in the body, according to what many experts have stated.

If you feel fatigued, achy, tired, loss of motivation, no desire to get things accomplished in your personal life, you will do well to analyze your habits, including the foods you eat and the amount of time you spend on exercise.

Here are 10 incredible facts to maintain or regain your youthfulness.

Fact #1: More Fruits and vegetables in your daily diet:

A diet high in fruits and vegetables have been associated with a reduced risk of stroke. Researchers found that eating a healthy plant-based diet cuts the chance of stroke by nearly 60%.

Banana (and many other common fruits), for instance, contain substances known to boost immunity, lower blood pressure and improve heart function.

Banana is loaded with essential vitamins and minerals such as potassium, calcium, manganese, magnesium, iron, folate, niacin, riboflavin, and B6. These all contribute to the proper functioning of the body and keeping you healthy

Mangoes are cholesterol free and are very low in saturated fat and sodium. They contain B complex (anti-stress) vitamins, as well as vitamins A, C and E. 

Physically active mango lovers replenish potassium by eating mangoes. Mangoes are a source of magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, selenium, folic acid (folate), and zinc. Two per cent of the daily recommended amount of protein and amino acid can be obtained from mangoes. 

Mangoes are an excellent source of dietary fibre, so you should have no problems with irregularity or constipation as an average-size mango can contain up to 40 per cent of your daily fibre requirement. Dietary fibre is known to offer protection against degenerative heart diseases and may help prevent certain types of cancer. Mangoes also lower blood cholesterol levels.

Rich in vitamins

Mangoes have a lot of vitamins and eating one or two a day will provide sufficient nutrition to the body without increasing weight, said Prof. Rubina Hakeem of the Dietician Society of Pakistan at a seminar organized by the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Medical Center at the Defence Central Library on Tuesday.

Beyond being delicious and rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, mangoes contain an enzyme with stomach-soothing properties similar to papain found in papayas. These comforting enzymes act as a digestive aid and can be held partially responsible for that feeling of contentment we experience during and after our daily mango ritual!

Watermelons are nutritionally sound as they are not only low in calories - 51 calories per cup - but are free of fat and cholesterol. They are great for weight control and they settle the stomach well. 

Watermelons have fair amounts of magnesium and potassium to help protect against stroke and the onset of high blood pressure. Watermelons do wonders in improving cardiac health and have the 'heart check' seal of approval by the American Heart Association.

Fact #7: Meats - Lean red meat is an important source of high quality protein and essential nutrients. Beef is also a rich source of the vitamin B Complex, (B1, B2, B3, B6, B12), and iron, is what we require in all stages of our life; and beef provides one of the richest sources. Iron is essential for all cells to respire and metabolize. To put it in simple language, without iron our cells would die.

Having considered some benefits of red meat, if you can reduce the amount of red meat you eat weekly that would already make a huge difference in your health. You can always add more fish and chicken (make an effort to get the freshest ones) to your diet instead of red meat.

WHY?

Because fish and chicken is less acid-waste producing than red meat. And they do not contain as much toxic and waste by products. If you eat meat, try your best to find organic meat. At least it is free of chemicals and growth hormones often found in regular meats.

Fact #8: Detoxification - The term detoxification is to break down and remove from our body anything that shouldn't be in it. To some extent, it's a set of normal bodily functions that help our body stay healthy when it is exposed to harmful substances, either external or internal. Our body converts these toxic substances into nontoxic ones and excretes them.

If detoxification isn't functioning properly, excess waste will accumulate in our body. It's similar to what happens when the garbage collectors don't pick up the garbage from our gate. The waste piles up, making the neighborhood smell bad and creating the ideal environment for the outbreak of disease.

Why does our body have to detoxify at all? Ages ago our diet was all natural, straight from the farm to the table, or via the pot if necessary. There were no pesticides, additives, or artificial colorings that needed to be removed from our body. Nevertheless, the detoxification process is a part of our existence because of the need to eliminate the natural, normal compounds produced in the human body.

These compounds are by-products of chemicals the body secretes to perform a specific action for a limited duration of time. Detoxification also eliminates foreign, and toxic compounds often unavoidably ingested with our food and drinking water.

Some of the more common problems related to poor detoxification are fatigue (as well as the more serious chronic fatigue syndrome), pain, chronic hormonal problems (including PMS), fibroids, and heavy menstrual bleeding. Both Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases are said to be linked to detoxification abnormalities. There is no doubt about the abnormal functioning of our bodies, causing them to be store-houses for toxic waste.

Fact #9: Dairy Products: Dairy products are concentrated with saturated fat and can cause the development of bad cholesterol in the arteries. Dairy products have been linked to heart disease and breast cancer. If milk is a problem for you, you may have to go with soy milk, rice milk or almond milk.

Fact #10: The Word of GOD - Last but certainly not least, is the Bible which is the Word of God. In fact this should head the list at the very beginning. The word of God is like medicine to the body. Psalm 103:1-5 says "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Isaiah 53:5 says "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed".

Malachi 4:2 says "But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings";

Proverbs 4:20-22 says "20 My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. 21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; 22 for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body".

Psalm 107: 19-21 says "19 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. 20 He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. 21 Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind", I could go on and on.

It is what we know and believe in the Word of God that will work for us. It is what you know and believe in the Word of God that you can activate to work for you. If you never realized that God was interested in making you look and feel youthful, strong and healthy, you will never bother to find out how you can pray and "interrupt" the natural process of aging and its associate ailments.

Like most people, you would think it's God's will for your body to shrivel up prematurely, showing the wear and tear of aging. Then you would let yourself go, and allow your body to be riddled with the loathsome disease of old age.


Even while you are still young. I have heard of people in their twenties dying of stroke and heart attack. The fact is, God considers healing us from all manners of diseases to be as important as forgiving us of our sins.
