Content...most people don't realize just how much this can change their business when they add this to their marketing.
Why is that?
Here's some of the feedback I've been given when I've asked people what's keeping them from creating more content for their business:
I know I should write more content, but there never seems to be enough time...
I have no idea what I need to write about for my business...
I would write more content if I knew how to write it for my different platforms...
There's no return on my content immediately so I focus on other activities instead...
I've written loads of content in the past, but it didn't seem to get any traction...why bother?
To summarize many people don't know what to write and how to write for specific platforms online to get traction and results when it comes to gaining visibility.
And there's a solution to all of this. I call it Rapid Fire Content Creation.
We pick a theme for the month, and subcategories within the theme to drive our audience to a specific action.
We start with the one to create the many and one piece of amazing content is the jumping off point to 10 other pieces of content. You just have to know how to spin it.
Let's take this article and spin it into online content. I’m going to create 10-pieces of content on this in less than?five minutes?of typing.
Here it goes:
1. Original email that goes out to my email list. This is usually the starter content that I pull smaller pieces from.
2. Create another perspective for original content with that same email, insert other angle and change the title too – “Where good content goes to die” and out on LinkedIn articles it goes.
3. Take the what you know to be your ideal clients resistance to what you train/teach on and create a Facebook short form post on timeline and in FB groups: “HAVE YOU EVER WRITTEN SOMETHING AMAZING THAT STILL NO ONE HAS SEEN???
4. Facebook long form using messaging in original email with a call to action that says “Don’t bury your head in the sand and keep your content hidden. Let me show you 30-ways to create 30-days of content in 30-minutes during a special workshop training.?Click here ?to go and register.
5. Instagram short form content that goes in feed with the gif below. Short form includes preselected hashtags and CTA is, “Check the link in my bio to register.” Here is the example: “I used to hide my content like a turtle hides their head in the sand. Today I’m going to show you 10 reasons not too and how you can do this for yourself. Here’s the list?[insert 10 different ways to put copy together in less than 5-minutes].?Want to learn to be a rapid-fire content creator with thought-provoking copy that activates your ideal clients to work with you? 6. Another Instagram short to go out two days later with same CTA as above, plus a new gif (see below), and a different marketing angle. Example: Content creation can be easy, when you have a system to create. Want a shortcut? Take one main piece of content and break it down into bite-sized content and one liners based on the original and viola – you create 30 pieces of content for the next 30 days. 7. Do a quick poll in LinkedIn based on your original post, but asking a specific question to gauge your following in that platform. Example: “How often do you post on LinkedIn? PS. If this is something you struggle with, come to my workshop on how to create 30-days of content in 30-minutes:?https://bit.ly/30-days-content ... Answers) Several times per day; Once per day; Once per week; Once every 2-weeks; Monthly if I’m lucky.
8. Do a quick video with your phone or simply by sharing screen on Zoom and have this be of your long form content (original) and record slowly. Have the title of the original article be in large and capitalized font. Take that video and turn it into a reel on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok with a strong title like, “10 PIECES OF CONTENT FROM ONE ARTICLE IN 5-MINUTES.” (and this is actually 3-pieces of content, but we’ll count it as one?:)).
9. Take a quick video of you typing feverishly on your computer and turn it into a boomerang on Facebook stories with a title, “What writing 10-pieces of content in 5-minutes REALLY LOOKS LIKE.”
10. And last but not least – short form on Twitter with the boomerang video you made in Facebook stories from the video you created for #9 that says: RAPID-FIRE CONTENT CREATION can be easy. You just need…
One main piece of content
Two large cups of coffee
And a little bit of pixie dust…
Want me to show you??https://bit.ly/30-days-content
See how creative and effective you can be?
Anyone can create Rapid Fire Content - most don't because they don't have a system to get themselves organized.
I've found that a system for content creation that converts helps the creative process immensely, and once you have a baseline for content for the month, a bonus is that when new content ideas come in - you can run with them without worry of when it goes out.
Hopefully that gave you some more ideas on how to create content and how to create it for several different platforms!
Until next time, happy content creating!
Danielle
