TEN MUST READS FOR ENTREPRENEURS

Well it has been 1 year 1 month and 15 days with my latest startup Yottaasys, it has been the best learning period of my life as each day has been a day full of evolution, mistakes, learning and seeking. Was getting my author cravings for sometime now so thought of sharing my 5 cents of evolutionary experience with all the fellow entrepreneurs (actually with anyone who is truly seeking), do not miss this step as there is no better teacher than a good book and being guided by your own consciousness. Without taking any more time very excited to share the list of the 10 best books which can help anyone evolve and develop, as the title says these are some of the books everyone should read before the final D day.

HOW TO ANALYZE PEOPLE ON SIGHT The first thing which helps is getting a handle on what/who I am, what's my basic DNA, my strengths, my weaknesses and my improvement areas is "HOW TO ANALYZE PEOPLE ON SIGHT" by Elsie Lincoln Benedict and Ralph Paine Benedict. This book starts with an understanding of the basic personality types, their strengths, weaknesses and the professions they should seek. MASTERY

The Second book i would refer is "MASTERY" BY Robert Greene, Mastery is the fifth book by Robert Greene. A fantastic book which examines the lives of great historical figures—such as Charles Darwin, Mozart, and Henry Ford—and contemporary leaders—such as Paul Graham and Freddie Roach, the books starts right from the evolution of human brain, takes you through the 7 years apprentice cycle and closes on the FUSION OF THE INTUITIVE WITH THE RATIONAL. WHERE GOOD IDEAS COME FROM

The third book which shows the true value of innovation, the intersection of order and chaos is "WHERE GOOD IDEAS COME FROM" by Johnson, Steven. This book is nicely divided into 7 sections I The adjacent possible, II LIQUID NETWORKS III THE SLOW HUNCH IV SERENDIPITY V ERROR VI EXAPTATION VII PLATFORMS. You will notice a lot of the concepts in this book being applied into most start-ups and some of the truly innovative organizations of today. ZERO TO ONE

Now that we have laid out a good foundation (hopefully as all of the words are just data and they only turn into knowledge after deep insight and introspection) we can go to the fourth step in the ladder. My fourth recommendation will be "ZERO TO ONE" By Peter Thiel, learning from a real life experience author like Peter is always enlightening, this books looks at how companies can engineer radical changes and in doing so, move the human race forward. In case you don't know Peter Thiel he was the co-founder of PayPal, the first outside investor in Facebook and is now the co-founder and chairman of Palantir Technologies. MAN's SEARCH FOR MEANING

The Fifth book which will help us in the evolution from apes to human will definitely be MAN's SEARCH FOR MEANING by Victor E. Frankl, in this book Victor tells us the inside story of a concentration camp. A nice read if you would like to understand how and what one keeps going in the worst of the adverse circumstances. QUIET

The sixth Book which gives us wings to fly is "QUIET" by Susan Cain, the books starts with a nice background then dives into your biology in part II with finally ending with insights on HOW TO LOVE, HOW TO WORK. The pdf version is here but .....

POWER

The Ninth book which is an absolute must is "POWER" by Robert Greene again, this books lists and explains the 48 laws of power in a justly spectacular manner.

BHAGWAD GEETA

Finally the 10th book, which is the big bang of all readings, analysis and knowledge will be "BHAGWAD GEETA" by Author Krishna Yadav :). Do i really need to say anything about this book..
