The 10 Best AI Meeting Note-Takers: Making Traditional Meeting Notes Obsolete

The 10 Best AI Meeting Note-Takers: Making Traditional Meeting Notes Obsolete

What do creatives like me want from AI? No, we don’t want to use AI to write our posts or create our art for us. We want AI to take over the mundane parts of our lives so we can write our own posts and create our own art.?

The same applies to meetings. When in a conversation, I want to be able to pay my full attention to what’s being discussed and chime in at the right places. I don’t want to frantically jot down notes to remember context later, while missing out on everything in the present moment.?

Thankfully, AI does this heavy lifting for me now. I’ve tried several tools that summarize discussions, capture action items, and even automate follow-ups. In this article, I'll share my top recommendations.

What to Look for in AI Meeting Note Takers

Before diving into the best tools, it’s important to know what makes a good AI meeting assistant.?

At a minimum, these note-taking tools should?

  • integrate with popular virtual meeting tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams
  • provide live transcription, and?
  • capture key takeaways

Beyond that, advanced features like task automation, collaboration options, and seamless sharing can take your meetings to the next level.

Will have to try some of the other tools you have in this list! I’ve used fathom and otter.ai a fair amount over the last few months and only have good things to say. Literally saves me at least an hour of transcribing notes and insights from experts every single time.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I was searching of these tools. Good to have found this list. Also, on a separate note, leaving everything to the AI tool will make us careless and lose focus during meetings. Personally, I find it much easier to stay focused on the conversation when I take notes.
