I’m always seeking ways to make things clear and confident decisions in both my personal and professional life. i read about Suzy Welch's tool 10-10-10 Rule.
This framework helps you pause and evaluate choices across three timeframes:
10 sec, min, month and year increment i like to call it.
The 10-10-10 Rule offers a structured approach to do just that, helping you weigh both short-term reactions and long-term impacts.
It’s easy to make impulsive choices based on immediate emotions. But this rule encourages you to consider the lasting consequences and make decisions that align with your future self.
Most of life’s rewards come from thinking long-term. So, the next time you face a big decision, try this exercise:
Ask yourself: How will I feel about this choice in 10 minutes, 10 months, and 10 years?
This simple practice will guide you toward wiser decisions that positively shape the future you want to create.
