1 Year of Procurement Disruption; New Flexible Pricing for All Organizations!
Did you know that our very first version of Scale Procure went live exactly a year ago in October 2022? Our first forey towards procurement disruption in Africa!
?? Within this period; we onboarded 20 buyers, suppliers numbers hit 5,000, partnered with KEPSA, joined with KISM in curating the inagural Supply Chain and Logistics Summit East Africa and much more…all this while building/ releasing/ fixing our 10 core modules that make up Scale’s system. ??
This month, we have a lot that we would like to share but we’ll try and keep it short. We'll focus on the key ones and most importantly, the one that has been asked about the most i.e our prices. So, let’s get straight into the details:
1. Supplier Diversity and Verification
Do you want to work with Youth, Women or PWD-owned suppliers? Do you find it a challenge sourcing for verifiable women-owned vendors? Going forward, we’ve got you covered on this in two ways:
Further, as part of building the trust IQ on Scale, suppliers are now required to input their Business Registration and Tax PIN numbers and once verified, receive a ? Verified badge. This provides a quick confirmation of their registration status and legitimacy to do business.
2. Managing Contracts and their milestones
Our new cool kid on the block! You can upload contracts on Scale, assign counterparties and get notified about milestones such as reviews, payments and renewals. This is important for monitoring all your contractual obligations during the length of your projects or agreements.

3. Flexible and Affordable Pricing Options for all!
We reviewed and revised our prices to provide plans that respond to the needs of different organizations. A key update is the Pay-Per-Use option where as a Buyer, you create an account for free, find/manage your Suppliers and only on a needs basis, pay for only for what you use.
