Testimonials are one of the most effective tools you can make use of when optimising your website for higher conversions.
There are countless case studies and example showing how inserting the right testimonial in the right spot can lead to DRAMATICALLY INCREASED CONVERSIONS.
Really it is no surprise because testimonials are perfect at overcoming objections.
Picture this, you’re looking at that sign up form or purchase button but you are not quite sure whether you should pull the trigger and at that moment a voice comes in….
But it's not the usual voice it's not the marketing voice saying OMG this stuff is great you should buy it NOW!.
Because no matter how good you are, that marketing voice is never completely trustworthy.

In addition to that, testimonials also provide social proof, people always prefer to go where their is a crowd rather than to go it alone. If social proof is missing on your site that's a bit of a red flag. There is no better way to show that social proof signal than with testimonials
