Let go of the need to talk about you and ask them clarifying questions, to understand where they are coming from.
It will help you to build rapport with them, which will unlock your channel of communication and help you find a middle ground.
LITTLE SECRET: it will also unlock something within you, it will be way easier for you to let things go and you will feel way more comfortable while being in uncomfortable situations.
