1 thing about stress your doctor is not telling you...

You been stressed before?? I have!?

Whether it is work, money, social life or family...we have all been there?

It has a negative impact on you. Not just mentally but also physically too?

Too much stress means high cortisol, and chronic stress means constant elevated cortisol?

This will have a devastating impact on your enzyme, receptor and genetic activity


So what does this mean? Well these are just a few things that can happen

  • Weak immune system which in these times of covid, we dont need?
  • Insulin resistance (prediabetic)?
  • Increased blood pressure, cholesterol issues and high blood glucose


Now this can lead to a long line of heart issues, and a shortened life span.?

And all the research is pointing toward stress being one of the main causes of long-term illness

And this is ultimately why you may not be able to build any muscle, or cut body fat as you wish?

But that doesn't mean you should just give up - you can manage this, you just need to know how. And here is what I suggest?

  • Breathing; it sounds silly right? But really learning how to manage your breathing and control your body is the starting point. Take your time, and actually give learn to take deeper more meaningful breaths
  • Sleep; 6-8 hours of quality sleep will change your life. It is exactly what your body needs to perform at optimum levels
  • Exercise; the best stress reliever there is - if you are not working out, you are doing yourself a disservice. This is a natural stress reliever and will add years to your life
  • Managing work; if work is stressful, or your shift patterns are causing you to be out of whack - maybe say something to your boss? At the end of the day, they need you at your best!???


Just start with these basics and maybe it will make a difference?

Everything that's mentioned in this article are all facts about why stress is decreasing our health levels and keeping our heart unhappy in a way that leads to further complications down the lane. Interestingly enough, some of the things that are mentioned in terms of letting go of stress made me realize I am only doing 2 out of the four he has mentioned in this article. Definitely, an eye-opener and fact-oriented article that everyone should read if they want to improve their physical state for, allowing them to think more wisely mentally without the fog to gain more knowledge on skillsets that interest you most. Because I’m pretty sure if you follow all of four of his regimens he’s mentioned to let go of stress, you will be on your way to leading a better life that’s more simplistic in thinking of what I have to perform next. Keep up the excellent work with your content and helping others with finding their fitness path Javen Palmer!
