Is this ?? 1 Setting KILLING your profile

Is this ?? 1 Setting KILLING your profile

Are you a grey face?

The word on the street is that for you to be successful on LinkedIn you need to be posting content.

It’s hugely important and even for those of you making the investment, whether it be time or financial there is something that seems to be holding so many of you back.

THE GREY FACE

There are hundreds of thousands of you out there right now who are doing your utmost to get yourselves in front of your ideal buyer and without your knowledge you’re are being hindered by your profile pictures visibility.

Your LinkedIn profile picture has 4 visibility options

  • Your Connections
  • Your Network (LinkedIn members connected up to 3 degrees away from you)
  • All LinkedIn Members
  • Public (every on LinkedIn and visible via search engines etc)

If you are on LinkedIn to generate business, which the vast majority of you are, then removing the personal touch of a prospect being able to see your face almost defeats the object of being on LinkedIn for generating business.

THIS IS HOW TO FIX IT

  1. Go to your own LinkedIn profile
  2. Click the settings cog
  3. Click the “Privacy” tab
  4. Scroll down and click “public

Hi Anthony. I've always been confused by people not having a profile picture, so a useful post for them. I also think avatars and cartoon type profile images are probably not the best either. If you're putting a barrier up like that, what else might you be trying to hide? ??
