#1 Secret to Navigating the Mess of Pictures on Your Phone

Do you often feel frustrated when trying to find or share a single picture on your phone?

You know it’s in your photo stream somewhere but after scrolling through hundreds, or maybe even thousands of pictures it seems to have disappeared? This can be incredibly frustrating and make using technology even more stressful than it already is!

Well, I’m here to tell you there’s a better way to navigate the?mess of pictures on your phone!?

One of the first things I suggest is to accept that?your PHOTO STREAM is, and always will be, an absolute mess! This is where all of your pictures, shared images, screenshots, videos and duplicates live. Trying to scroll through it, or even clean it up, is a total waste of time!

Instead, focus on creating ALBUMS so your favorite photos are all in one place, making them easy to find and share in just a few clicks!

Start small by creating just?one?album for a recent birthday, vacation, homecoming, fall sports season or trip to the pumpkin patch. Then, next month?create another album and aim to keep going. You didn't create this mess overnight and certainly won't organize it that quickly either! By starting small with just one album a month you will make more progress than you think!?

How to Create an Album:

IPHONE/APPLE PHOTOS USERS:

If you have an older operating system (IOS 17 or previous version), follow the directions below:?

1. Open Apple Photos
2. Click "ALBUMS" at the bottom of your screen?
3. Tap the "+" sign in the top left
4. Select "New Album"?
5. Give it a title and click "SAVE"
6. Select photos that you want in this album
7. Click "ADD"

?

If you uploaded the latest operating system (IOS 18) that was released last month, follow these directions:?

1. Open Apple Photos
2. Scroll up on your screen until you see the “Albums” menu and click to open
3. Tap “Create” in the top left corner of your screen
4. Select "New Album"?
5. Add a title and click "Done"
6. Open your new album
7. Click the box with the? “+” sign
8. Select your photos
9. Click "ADD" in the top right corner

ANDROID/GOOGLE PHOTOS USERS:

1. Open Google Photos
2. Click “Collections" at the bottom of your screen
3. Click the "+" at the top of your screen?
4. Select “Album” from the menu
5. Add a title and click “done”
6. Click “Select photos”
7. Select the photos you want to add to your album
8. Click “Add” in the top right corner

Creating just one album now will be a great start to organizing your digital mess, especially as we had into the most photographed time of year with the holidays ahead!?
