Hey Son
While traveling from one city to another last week for office work I came across an interesting conversation podcast. This conversation was between 2 legendary best friends. One of them is known as Bill Gates and the other one is known as Warren Buffet. When you grow up and start to get an understanding of famous personalities of the world then you will relaise that these 2 people do not need any introduction. Now the conversation goes like this ( not word by word or line by line but the gist of it) :?
Bill Gates asks his best friend Warren - You pick up the best stocks, invest your money there and do not touch them for decades and your money grows. Now to me this seems to be a very simple strategy. If this is so simple then why don’t everyone follows the same and become rich.
To this Warren replied : Bill, it is because no body wants to become rich slowly. Everybody wants to be rich overnight.
The discussion goes on various facets of life but I took a pause to reflect upon it. This makes sense to me. This principle is not only applicable for money but also for everything that we do. That is what James Clear told in Atomic Habits and Morgan Houssel said in Psychology of Money. I would recommend you to read these 2 books as you grow.?

This is so true son. Just now you left for your weekly karate class. To master this martial art, you will have to go everyweek to attend your karate classes, learn the nuances, practice it and then master it. It will take weeks then months and then years to become good in karate. The same will be applicable in studies as well. You learn everyday, practice it, understand the fundamentals and then grow. You will have a year to appear an exam and flourish it. If you study the entire year slowly and consistently then you will be able to master the subject and the learnings will stay with you forever against the practice of burning midnight candles just few days before the exam.?
Take your life slowly, believe in compound growth which has been declared as the 8th wonder of the world. Once you grow little more then we will discuss about the meaning of compound growth. Stay 100% disciplined as in my opinion there is nothing called 50% or 75% discipline. Take time to grow, practice everyday and see the miracles through compound growth happen.?
Believe in yourself, grow skillsets and enjoy the pace of life.?
With Love.
