Management functions are one of the six (6) key non-technological competencies.
The key product of planning is the PLAN.
Here are twenty (20) planning questions that encourage more effective planning.

2. Do you plan the next day at least one (1) day in advance?
3. Are at least two (2) priority activities included in your daily planner?
4. Are you aware that a plan without deadlines is improvisation?
5. Does your planner have defined roles for all participants involved?
6. Do you have a strategic plan for your career for five (5) years?
7. Am I aware of who in my environment does not plan?
8. Do I have a list of all the necessary plans?

14. Am I satisfied with how I archive plans?

16. Does each plan have measurable and time-framed objectives?
17. Is it known exactly who is responsible for each plan?
18. Do I know which plan is currently the most important to me?

?
PRACTICAL WORK
1. Analyze each question and answer it.
2. Based on the answers, determine the necessary activities:
- Elimination of identified negative conditions (problems),
- Opportunities for improvement,
- Activities that trigger development.
?
CONCLUSION
Planning is one of the key non-technological competencies.
Planning is the first "letter" in the alphabet of introducing change.
Planning competencies must be learned and applied in practice every day.
There are no naturally talented individuals who are experts in planning.
Any lack of planning leads to improvisation.
Improvisation always produces achievements that are far less than potential, needs and desires.

My father used to ask my husband and me: "What do you plan to do today?" and we always went ballistic. Well, he made Podravka and he knew what he was talking about. But we were young and carefree, ha, ha. Our children, our daughter especially, plan their obligations and free time months in advance. For them it's normal, and I am very proud of them. Plans, goals, timeline and who is responsible for what are crucial for private and business life alike.
