**1-Minute of Your Attention for a Worthy Cause**

The recent Northern California wild fires have forever changed the lives of thousands upon thousands of residents in the affected areas - Napa, Lake, Sonoma, Mendocino, Butte and Solano. It should by now be no mystery to anyone that entire communities were literally wiped out by mother nature’s wrath. All that is left behind is a wasteland of charred memories, ruined lives and the coping with loss.

More than 90,000 people have been forced to evacuate from their homes. While the communities will start the process to rebuild, the holidays are fast approaching - many don't have a place to go. Can you imagine Thanksgiving dinner at Denny’s or the Holiday Inn?!!

How can you help?

Eric Elting, a very dear friend of mine from the Bay Area, has decided to make a difference for these families this forthcoming Thanksgiving. In order to help offer a day of giving thanks and celebrating life around a special meal for those who have been displaced, he has launched California Wild Files. This site has been established to connect those displaced with a family that is willing to host people for Thanksgiving.
