We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Agne Gukauskiene, Human Resources Manager at our Dublin Head Office, for our 1-minute interview series. Agne provided valuable insights into her role and how she fosters a "can do" positive environment within SOS Group.

How would you define your role at SOS Group?

As an HR Manager, I am dedicated to fostering a positive "can-do" environment for everyone at SOS Group, from our senior management team to our wonderful operatives. I aim to be a catalyst for positive change, innovation, and growth within the company.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

The best piece of advice I have ever received is to embrace failure as a stepping stone to success. This mindset shift has empowered me to take risks, push boundaries, and ultimately, grow both personally and professionally.

What keeps you motivated?

Achieving personal growth and making a positive impact as well as knowing that my efforts contribute to the success of SOS Group. Seeing tangible results of my work efforts or witnessing the growth of my colleagues.

What is your most memorable day at SOS Group?

Reflecting on my time at SOS Group, one day stands out the most; it was during a project where our team faced challenges and tight deadlines. Despite the pressure, we worked together using our diverse skills and experiences to overcome the obstacles and deliver exceptional results, this really proved to me, that good teamwork can achieve excellent results.
