#1 LinkedIn profile views at InsideSales.com took me 11 months. "2 things I did right, and one really really right"
My last post, "#6 LinkedIn views in 6 Weeks" created strong activity in my "dusty" LinkedIn traffic. As of today, nobody at InsideSales.com gets more LinkedIn love than I do! Below, briefly, are my 2 best behaviors.
1. Post with a funny qicture, or Meme
2. Make typos (picture, not qicture)
Summarizing both points is simple: Eyes grab and create the gaze, brain quickly reads what it likes. In today's "automated" world of messaging, typos are rare. So when we read one, our natural barriers to such robotic messages diminish.
Really really right moment?
Writing something controversial get's "everyone's panties in a pinch." Those reads energize a stale LinkedIn day...such as Friday afternoons. Think about it...if there is one 3 hour block of time, in a 40+hour week that's boring, it's Friday afternoons.
Boring gets skipped, Edgy gets pushed.
I enjoy the opportunities now afforded me to share a message with so many and am grateful for software like LinkedIn to provide this amazing arena.

9 年Serious question here, your controversial articles, and querky ideas on articles etc have gotten you to #1 LinkedIn views at InsideSales.com, but in reality what does that even mean? Has it brought you more business, has it brought more respect from your peers? Have you furthered your career by doing so? Have you given yourself opportunities outside of InsideSales.com at other SAAS companies? I am just wondering if I should spend my time trying to get more LinkedIn views like yourself, or maybe doing more productive things that will make me a well rounded Sales rep.
