Since yesterday, I've been surrounded by world-class authors, entrepreneurs, and conversations about the power of books to transform businesses.

I've been an entrepreneur for over 20 years, but one thing I've learned is that no matter how long you've been in business, your growth as a leader directly impacts the growth of your business.

Investing in yourself isn't something you only do when you're just starting out. It's what allows you to keep leading at the highest level. Writing a book is one of the most powerful ways to amplify your voice and impact, but the best authors I know are the ones who never stop learning, even after they've published.

Here's what I'm reminded of this week:

? The problems you're facing right now — someone else has already solved them. Being in the right room gives you access to those answers faster.

? The longer you're in business, the more intentional you need to be about your circle. Who you're learning from and who you're surrounded by makes all the difference.

? You can't expect your business to grow if you're not growing as a leader. The breakthroughs happen when you put yourself in environments that challenge your thinking.

If you're serious about going the distance in business, and using your book as a vehicle for growth, investing in yourself isn't a luxury, it's a non-negotiable.
