Someone asked me today that "How can I make myself go up to the next level?"
This is quite interesting questions and I have used multiple of example to let him see how he could get to the next level that he defines. Then I learned 2 things out from that.
One.
Regardless of my stories, it is not important. The most important thing is from his perspective; in his opinion to describe what exactly the 'next level'. Because I might see with my eyes in my world but in his world it means everything.
So whenever you ask yourself this question. I would like to say congratulation and glad that you know the important of growing and being better. The good news is when you aim higher, chances are you will get it.
Two.
Understanding the end goal will come from every small success. So, why don't just make a simple small achievement? Let's say 1% better than the existing of what you do.
i.e. if you are doing 1 push-up today and commit to adding 1 more tomorrow. Then look back after a month how many push-ups that you get. Taking a little bit more effort each day to be better to yesterday. We are sure that easy right.
And that how 1% achievement is very important.
Like if you could be better than yourself 1%, you would have 365% better in a year. What if you earn an extra $1/day, imagine how much you earn in a year??? The result is very sweet, right?
So, if you are frustrated a bit now, do something that can bring you 1% better. You are actually successful!
Kind regards,
