1 Hour and 14 Minutes: How ChatGPT Helped Me Create a Month’s Worth of Content Ideas

Since AI launched, it's been fascinating to see how it can boost productivity.
A few years ago, writing content was a lot of hard work.
Not that it isn’t still challenging, but AI has been a huge help for content writers by offering clarity, organizing content, generating ideas, and even tweaking the tone to fit just right.
I remember when crafting a 350-word blog post could easily eat up at least four hours of my day.
Let's be real, being a writer isn’t easy, especially when you're writing for businesses. You have to do thorough research, choose words that resonate with your audience, and then spend even more time editing and proofreading.
Now, with AI stepping in, writer’s block is almost a thing of the past, and editing happens in a flash. Isn’t that cool?
With my startup, Remote Filo, I’ve been juggling a lot—sales, marketing, HR, managing and training my team, and immersing myself in learning about the business.
I’ve recently closed four clients, which has kept me super busy. Falling behind on my social media content was a wake-up call, and I knew I needed to plan ahead.
I started thinking about the kind of content I want to post more of. I had to keep my goals in mind: educating people about the benefits of hiring skilled Filipino talent, while also mixing up the types of content—static images, GIFs, carousels, videos, and long-form posts.
For the upcoming posts from November 11 to November 29, I used ChatGPT-4 to help organize my ideas.
Of course, the actual content will be different. When my team starts creating content, that's when creativity sparks. I’m the kind of person who loves to explore further when I start looking at copy and creatives. It’s so much fun when doing the actual content—the ideas naturally flow.
AI played a crucial role in helping me streamline my thoughts and plan efficiently. That said, just be mindful that AI still has limitations—it doesn’t provide facts and can sometimes "hallucinate." That's why I only use it for generating ideas, organizing my thoughts, correcting my grammar, and tackling writer's block.
The actual content creation still takes time, depending on the type of post you’re creating and the visuals you plan to use.
I want to emphasize that utilizing AI has definitely helped me work faster.
If a business doesn’t keep up or hire talent who can adapt, they risk being left behind.
