#1: Everyone is a project manager

#1: Everyone is a project manager

Fellow readers,

Welcome aboard the maiden voyage of Conscious Management Hub, the epicenter of a management revolution. Picture this: a world where every person in a team, like our imaginary friend Joe, is equipped with the superpowers of project management. That's what we're setting out to create!

So, why Conscious Management Hub?

Well, it all started with a cup of coffee and a casual chat with Joe. He's a tech whiz, the kind who can juggle a thousand lines of code while dreaming in binary. But when it comes to projects, Joe's as lost as a puppy in a maze. There are managers with unrealistic expectations, and numerous stakeholders, all speaking unclear language and expecting that everyone knows how to act and survive in complex projects. That is not true.

And here's the kicker: Joe's not alone. In a world where the tech industry evolves faster than you can say "algorithm," too many Joes find themselves at yet another project meeting, wondering where it all went wrong.

That's where this newsletter comes in. I am on a mission to flip the script, to change the game. I believe in conscious management, where everyone—yes, everyone—is a manager. Joe included.

Have you ever been in a meeting where acronyms fly like confetti at a New Year's Eve party, leaving you more confused than enlightened? Or perhaps you've witnessed projects unravel because of misunderstandings and miscommunications that could have been easily avoided?

Joe has. And so have I. That's why I am here to say that the days of the lone hero manager are over. It's time to empower Joe and his fellow wizards with the knowledge and skills to navigate the treacherous seas of project management.

But let's get one thing straight: you don't need a Ph.D. in Project Management to understand what's going on in your project. I am here to demystify the jargon, to make the complex seem simple, and to empower you, yes, you, to take charge.

You'll find a treasure chest of insights, strategies, and practical tips in these digital pages. We'll break down the complex concepts into bite-sized nuggets of wisdom. So, whether you're Joe, the tech enthusiast eager to bring order to your agile chaos, a newly appointed manager hungry for guidance, or a seasoned pro seeking fresh perspectives, Conscious Management Hub has your back.

Imagine Joe's delight as he discovers that managing projects doesn't have to be a cryptic ritual. With every issue of our newsletter, he'll inch closer to becoming the superhero he never knew he could be.

So, my fellow conscious managers-in-the-making, buckle up! Subscribe to Conscious Management Hub, and get ready for a rollercoaster of knowledge that will transform how you approach your projects.

Together, we'll rewrite the rules, redefine success, and pave the way for a future where everyone, truly everyone, is a project manager.

Thank you for joining me on this thrilling adventure. Let's make some management magic happen!

- Taras.

Like this thought. This mostly aligns with my vision. I also see Project Manager role as person who aligns strategy with tactic + supports introducing tactics on the project level to assure the delivery. Delivery itself is done by other people for other people usually. So it’s important for them to have their voice and be in active role. And this is where PM can be a good support.
