Dear Friends,

This week GlobalGurus.org announced that I have been ranked #1 in Customer Service for the seventh year.

While I am deeply grateful and honored (your votes of support made this happen), I want to use this opportunity to praise the global customer service and customer experience community for all the work, learning, sharing, and maturing we have done together since I joined the field in 1990 at the invitation of Singapore Airlines and the government of Singapore.

Together, across the world, our community of professionals have collaborated to evolve principles, practices, methods, and metrics. We have helped clients in B2C, B2B, and government situations.

We have worked with numerous industry models and ever-expanding channels of communication. We have shifted the focus of serious professionals from mere customer satisfaction to genuine delight, end-to-end experience, quantifiable loyalty, ambassadorial advocacy, authentic partnership, and ultimately to customer care.

We have contributed to the growth of healthy internal service cultures. And we have raised the profile and the dignity of being in service to one another in our businesses, our communities, and our homes.

As we continue innovating and navigating towards the future, I cherish the privilege of working with 29 other outstanding professionals who have been cited by Global Gurus, and with all of you who are reading these words. You are the ones who do the daily work of listening, responding, creating, collaborating, and caring with the service you provide to others.

Together we make our worlds. And together we are making this world a little better.

Congrats... Was busy being a new Grandfather... Yes I voted for you.. In todays world many have mental challenges..all we need to change our life is someone to inspire us and you have devoted your life to making that inspirationally by your voice of wisdom... we may not be able to change the destination but we can change its directions... Blessed Xmas to you... like I tell my friends who struggling if a poor man like me with little education can scale a great mountain..YOU CAN!!!!! I have the most colourful life story but its people like Ron that if we take the trouble to listen and practice his wisdom ..we can be Successful and Financially Free....
