1 Corinthians 15:58 - Go All In
I believe that there are certain Bible verses that every #CEO and #leader needs to know. The wisdom of the Bible is timeless, and it still works in our world today. Today, I want to share with you a few thoughts on 1 Corinthians 15:58
Christian CEOs are called to approach their work with a higher perspective—one rooted in faith and eternal purpose. Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 15:58 provide a grounding reminder for all leaders:
"Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
Go All In By Leading with Conviction
The business world is full of shifting trends and unpredictable circumstances. As leaders, you face countless pressures to compromise your values or take shortcuts for short-term gain. Yet Paul’s command to “stand firm” reminds the Well Done CEO that your foundation is unshakable when built on Christ.
For a CEO, standing firm means leading with integrity, even when it costs us. It’s refusing to bend to unethical practices or abandoning our principles in the face of adversity. Standing firm doesn’t mean resisting change but staying rooted in God’s truth, no matter how the business landscape evolves.
Go All In By Staying Resilient in Trials
Business ownership comes with inevitable challenges: financial pressures, employee conflicts, or even moments of doubt. Paul’s call to “let nothing move you” isn’t about avoiding challenges—it’s about remaining resilient in the face of them.
This resilience comes from knowing who is ultimately in control. When you recognize that your work is part of God’s greater plan, you can approach challenges with confidence and peace. It’s not about your strength but about relying on His. Resilience is not simply enduring but thriving in the knowledge that every trial is an opportunity to grow and glorify God.
I remind leaders that resilience is the mark of a leader who knows their work is bigger than themselves. When you trust God’s purpose, you can face every challenge with faith instead of fear.
Go All In By Always Giving All Of Yourself
Paul’s instruction to “always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord” speaks to the importance of commitment and excellence. For Christian CEOs, your work isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. Whether you’re managing finances, leading teams, or developing products, every task is an opportunity to serve God and reflect His glory.
Giving yourself fully means leading with excellence, not perfectionism. It’s about putting your heart into every project, meeting, and decision, knowing that your work is part of something much greater. When you approach your business as a mission field, even the smallest tasks take on eternal significance.
One More Second Step Comment
One of the greatest challenges for any leader is wondering if their efforts will truly make a difference. Paul’s assurance that our “labor in the Lord is not in vain” reminds Well Done leaders that God sees and values every act of faithfulness, even when results aren’t immediately visible.
1 Corinthians 15:58 is both a challenge and an encouragement for Christian CEOs. It calls you to lead with steadfast faith, unshakable resilience, and unwavering commitment to God’s purpose. When you ground your work in His truth, you build businesses that not only succeed but leave a lasting legacy for His kingdom.
