If you Google search "Rules to Live By," you will see thousands of articles with 100s of rules, but every one of us cannot implement them in our lives. Life is different for everyone, and we all have different perspectives on different subjects. I won't talk about those 100 rules, but I want to mention the #1 rule that every one of us must implement in our lives to spread our positive aura. The rule is extremely helpful for corporate life and is equally important in general life.
Here is the top rule that I have implemented for a long time.
Rule #1: Respect Blue-Collar Workers
Do you know what is missing in the lives of blue-collar people? Recognition and respect. If you do not know, Blue-Collar workers??"engage in hard manual labor, typically agriculture, manufacturing, construction, mining, or maintenance" (Investopedia).?In simple language, they are the less educated or uneducated segment of the world. You know how a majority treats uneducated people. Abusive language and disrespect are very common elements they face in their day-to-day lives, either from their boss or white-collar people.?
I do not care if you follow my other rule or not, but you have to implement this rule in your life.?RESPECT BLUE-COLLAR PEOPLE!
As usual, I will give you a small example from my own life as I do in all my other articles. From starting, I have respected and valued blue-collar people. I hated when my family members or just random people shouted at blue-collar workers just because they earned less, did not have the reach, and were sometimes prone to hear these words. I always greet & smile at security guards, home chefs, sweepers, drivers, construction workers, and other blue-collar people. Recently, one of my colleagues entitled me "DOWN TO EARTH" and was humble.
Note: I have mentioned the example just to show people that you will get something in return because nobody performs activities that do not reward us.
Rewarding or not, make it a practice! Make it a habit! Always respect, greet and smile at blue-collar people who starve for recognition and respect. Your heart will smile!

1 年I am thrilled that at least some people still think like that and write about it. Kudos to you for illuminating the topic that our society needs to see. I believe without ?BLUE-COLLAR PEOPLE, most of our work will stop. Like without security guards, we will not be safe in the office or society where we live. Without labor, construction work will not be continued. Do you think all these works can be done by us or any celebrity, businessman, or other WHITE-COLLAR PEOPLE? The answer will be 'NO.' We all want these people for smooth life. They deserve more respect and recognition than us
