According to the recent Burnout Report by Mental Health UK, the UK is on the verge of becoming a 'Burnt-Out Nation.' Ahead of Stress Awareness Month this April, we’re sharing some key take-aways from the report, as well as some suggestions to mark Stress Awareness Month at your workplace.?

Of 2,060 working adults in the UK:
?? 1 in 4 said they felt unable to manage stress and pressure in the workplace
?? In the past year, 1 in 5 ?needed to take time off work due to poor mental health caused by pressure or stress.
????The likelihood that someone had taken time off work in the last year due to poor mental health caused by stress decreased with age, with 34% of workers aged 18–24 having done so, compared with 15% of those aged 55 or over.
?? Nearly half of UK working adults say their employer doesn’t have a plan in place to spot the signs of chronic stress and prevent burnout in employees
?? 1 in 3 workers do not feel comfortable?letting their line manager?know if they are experiencing high or extreme levels of pressure and stress at work.
???? With stats like these, it's clear there's work to do when it comes to supporting stressed-out employees. Stress Awareness Month, taking place throughout? April is an ideal opportunity to raise awareness and put supportive strategies in place
