In Denmark, which is located in the northern part of the EU, irrigation of crops at 10 mm per day during the growing season is often at the lower end of the irrigation requirement.

Based on this, it is NOT considered an exaggeration of the potential irrigation need to assume a minimum of 10 mm daily irrigation on old and new production land in forestry and agriculture from the Mediterranean region in the southern EU to south of the Sahara.

Daily irrigation of new production lands in the Sahara's 9 million km2 = 6.2% of the global mainland with a minimum of 10 mm daily on average, with traditional forestry and agriculture and absolutely essential NIGHT IRRIGATION, will mean that evaporation and seepage into nature's waterways as well as waste of approximately 86% for new construction and consideration.

Section 4. License buyer overall responsibilities and consequences:

License buyer is a country or state / region with its own local government.

At Chapter 05, Chain responsibility https://lnkd.in/e8kWZB-h

Has the potential to lower global sea levels by more than 10 mm net per year, or more than global sea level rise due to melting from the poles.

?

In comparison, in the much more northerly situated USA, which is roughly the same size as the Sahara, 2 mm of precipitation falls on average daily, which is often too little in many areas.

In the Sahara, between 0 and 0.2 mm falls daily on average, which means that desertification is ongoing.

In Columbia, which lies just south of the Sahara, 8.5 mm of precipitation falls daily.

?

Recognizing or learning to recognize causal relationships in drought and desertification as well as freshwater shortages clearly has a low global priority - WHY?

?

The next article 09.019, which will be published on 05 April 2024, contains an elaboration of the necessary overall restrictions for the location of desalination plants.
