Sherpani teamed up with the Overdose North American crew to enhance their non-branded search visibility. By conducting in-depth keyword research and thorough competitor analysis, together they have fine-tuned Sherpani’s keyword strategy, identified gaps across their site, and improved user navigation. Alongside this, Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and technical SEO audits were implemented to tackle any issues affecting site performance. Overall, the goal was to increase Sherpani’s visibility while furthering its commitment to safe and sustainable travel.

CHALLENGE #001 : Limited Keyword Visibility Compared to Competitors

Sherpani.com ranked for only 4000 keywords, significantly behind competitors like Travelon, PacSafe, and Baggalini.

SOLUTION : We conducted in-depth keyword research to identify gaps and opportunities, creating targeted collection pages that enhanced the website’s structure and increased non-branded keyword visibility.

CHALLENGE #002 : Low Visibility on Google’s First Page

Less than 10% of Sherpani’s keywords ranked on page 1, reducing their share of organic traffic and visibility.

SOLUTION : We optimised keyword targeting, internal links, metadata, and content, resulting in a 68% increase in page 1 keyword rankings between December 2023 and September 2024.

CHALLENGE #003 : Limited Information Architecture and Navigation

Sherpani’s site had just 8 collection pages, restricting non-branded keyword targeting and limiting product discovery for consumers.

SOLUTION : We expanded the collection pages, introducing subcategories like "weekender bags" and "carry-on," improving navigation and supporting targeted keyword growth.
