We’ve Had a Wonderful Response from young people across Australia – But We Need More Young Voices from the Northern Territory!?

Are you aged 14 to 25 and based in the Northern Territory or know someone who is? We’re looking for passionate young people to join ARACY as Young Ambassadors in 2025!

We’ve had an incredible response to our call-out, but we’re missing voices from the NT—and we want to make sure young people from across Australia are represented. This is your chance to help shape how ARACY engages and supports young people nationwide.

About the Role

As a Young Ambassador, you will:

? Participate in three online workshops to help design and evaluate ARACY’s youth engagement strategy.

? (Optional) Join occasional email or WhatsApp discussions on how we can elevate young voices in the media.

? Have the chance to take part in additional opportunities based on your interests.

No prior experience is needed—just creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for making a difference!

What You’ll Get

?? Paid participation—$50 per 1.5-hour workshop. ?? Recognition on ARACY’s website (with your permission). ?? A chance to influence national policy and advocacy work. ?? A platform to share your ideas and experiences.

This is a flexible, remote opportunity running until December 2025. If you apply but aren’t selected this time, we’ll keep your details for future opportunities.

Enhancing Family Engagement in Education: Tools, Resources, and Insights

  • Strengthening Family Engagement: ARACY’s Parent and Family Engagement Implementation Guide continues to support school leaders in fostering positive partnerships with families to improve student achievement and wellbeing outcomes. Learn more about this evidence-based approach.
  • Family Engagement Tools: ARACY collaborated with AERO to develop audit tools and implementation checklists to help teachers and school leaders plan and monitor family engagement efforts at primary and secondary levels. Access these valuable resources today.
