#028 New GER MNO + New P2A options

Hey fam,

I would like to share with you that Google has added 1&1 as the fourth German Network Operator to the Google Developer Console to be selectable for launching agents in their network. For the beginning - as you can see with the mssing asterix - on "verified by Google" / Guest Cloud basis (so without Apple reach for RCS Business Messaging). Expecting 1&1 to become full Carrier Managed Network in a bit as well as becoming part of rcsbusinessmessaging.de xMNO GTM initiative soon. So if you already run RCS agents in GER make sure to add 1&1 in time.

Secondly I would like to show you todays user experience when adding a shortcode to an RCS Agent to enter the conversation straight away. We are working on making this ready for sale in H1/2025. Here′s the screenrecording of an iOS and Google Messages device:

Glad to see our coverage of RCS is growing continously and SMS is only a minor part as fallback.

Last but not least we are working hard to get the major bugs with iOS fixed a.s.a.p. and hope this will be done with iOS18.4 in March latest. Keep you posted.
