#026 Season's greetings and best wishes for the New Year!

Hello fam,

thank you for being part of the RCS Business Messaging journey and making it a success. It would never have become reality without all of you, from Brands to MNOs to OEMs to Enabler to Prospects to "Challengers" ;-)

Apple finally has removed the last barrier to become a real priority channel of choice in any customer communication. I′ve seen the product roadmap as well as GSMA UP activities and really excited on what to come. Big things will happen in 2025.

For now we still increase reach day by day and don′t stop excercising in analysing how to enable the missing bit. Also we are in progress of optimizing the harmonization of UX between iOS and Android as we speak as well as bug fixing.

New coverage numbers will be published in January as well as new service updates.

As we listen carefully to the market feedbacks and needs we have decided to change our logo of this channel and all communication around the GER xMNO GTM initiative under www.rcsbusinessmessaging.de from RBM into RCS Business Messaging to get rid of a doubled acronym and focus on consitently using the acronym RCS like SMS in every communication until it has become mainstream like DSL, 5G, IOT etc. :-)

We attach Business Messaging when we talk about the Business Solution and about P2P when without that add on. We will also use a set of variations with different slogans depends on the use case.

I am happy to confirm we will be present at the OMR 2025 again with an own booth and looking forward to meet in person at the 5th/6th of May in Hamburg. As it is one of the top fairs around digital marketing you should look for accomodation at the earliest. OMR Festival 2025 - Das Festival für das digitale Universum
