025. Collection of Unhinged Tweets (From The Vault) (Shade-Throwing Edition)
As I’ve previously written, I’m in the process of divesting from Twitter, given its increasingly uncertain future. But I’ve spent years into investing and building community there – and had a lot of fun too, so I’m determined to capture these for posterity.
At its peak, Tech Twitter was chock-full of drama. I usually was content munching on popcorn from the sidelines, but at times, felt compelled to call out People/Talent-related shenanigans, in hopes of raising the bar for our industry. Here is a collection of some of my favorite spicy moments ????calling out some truly stupid ideas.
Each of the below could be expanded into a whole separate post with accompanying data/analyses, so if you're interested in learning more, let me know!
Disclaimer: Pulling out my feistiest posts (from thousands!) might make me look like an asshole but I promise I am perfectly pleasant person ??

Like many, I’ve been following the conflict in Gaza. Since October 7, at least 32,975 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli attacks. While the world’s politicians argue whether the conflict meets the legal definitions of genocide, the reality is that ’unprecedented’ levels of famine is upon Gaza and “1.1 million people, more than half of Gaza's entire population, are experiencing catastrophic food insecurity.”
As schoolkids, we’d been taught to reflect on past atrocities and what we would have done if history was happening to us. How would we survive? Would we speak up and risk our own privileges? How much does the voice of an individual matter? These questions, while there are no simple answers, have prepared us for this moment, as history is happening now.
Join me in calling for a permanent ceasefire and end to the complicity of the United States. Raise your voice with elected officials, support humanitarian actions, and continue to raise awareness (more here).
