If you ever come across a string of pearls posted on Twitter, those are the game status of the Shabdarasa game; which we will discuss here in this blog post.

Back in January with the help from Dr. Aviseka Acharya, I have started developing the Wordle game in Odia. More on the tech stack and back story of that you can read on my blog.

We have recently completed the 50th day of the game and conducted a small competition where 12 participants have been declared winners across normal and hard modes of the game.

Unique features:

I have been the sole developer of the game. These are the additional features I have implemented other than the features of the original Wordle game:

1. On every 2nd attempt of failure, hints will be shown to the player on the missing letter
2. Hard mode has 4 letters to guess with Juktakhyara (combination of letters) and Matras (Diacritics)
3. Odia language-specific features like Odia keyboard, Diacritics, and Juktakhyara support.
4. Added additional two colors to help players identify how far are they from the answer word of the day.

• We have players all across the world in 40+ countries.
• Daily 200+ users play the game. Mostly from India, the UK, UAE, and the USA.
