World Heritage Day, an extended legacy.

Believing in the value of human heritage, which honors people’s identity and cultural roots connected to their authentic heritage, #WorldHeritageDay comes to confirm that preserving heritage is a responsibility shared by diverse societies aiming to protect their connection to their origins. World Heritage Day is a key global event that conveys educational messages about authenicity, humanity, and cultural depth.

Fostering heritage develops a unique sense of appreciation for both tangible and intangible heritage. It contributes to the richness and diversity of cultural identities and is crucial for understanding and preserving the legacy of past generations. All of which carry many stories and values in their details that have contributed to shaping cultural develpements.

Human heritage varies between tangible heritage, such as historical monuments and buildings, artifacts, archaeological sites that have persisted over time. While intangible heritage includes skills, knowledge, practices, and traditions of the performing arts they carry within them, all of which have contributed to serving humans and meeting their basic needs.
