The memorability of urban spaces to the citizens’ mind is one of the principal results and implications of being and living urban spaces; that memorability comes from the visual characters of buildings and spacious or pedestrian-oriented character of such spaces. The urban spaces have to provide rooms for people to gain emotional connections with the city itself. Ultimately, by public participations and eventually through mental pictures of the city, people experience empathy urban spaces and recognize themselves in their cities.
