Our Compresstome? VF-800-0Z vibrating microtome is a tissue slicer specially designed for cutting consistent sections of large tissue samples such as non-human primate brains, human brains, lung lobes, liver, and whole organs. The specimen tube can fit samples up to 100 mm in diameter and up to 90mm in depth or length. The slicing mechanism features a top-facing platform with a horizontally-moving, high-frequency vibrating cutting blade. The VF-800-0Z allows for high-throughput tissue secctioning and larger tissue sectioning.
