Skyline automates the scheduling process and provides customized learning paths for students. In collaboration with the US Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) 2.5, Intrinsic developed an ML best practice and custom AI recommendation engine specifically for Air Force aviation training. This application takes historical simulation and live flight data to provide instructors, schedulers, and students recommendations for their next training event. This system reduces the workload on instructors, optimizes training quality for students, and allows administrators to manage a growing talent pipeline more efficiently. Productivity improvements are estimated at 6-7 hours per day, potentially saving hundreds of hours a year. That equates to millions in savings for a given class of student aviators.
