I tested Meta's new SAM 2, and it seems to work quite smoothly. I uploaded a classic The Shining clip, clicked and selected Danny and his pedal car in one frame, and in a few seconds, the 10-second clip was tracked. After that I chose to make the boy and the car colored, but the background black and white. I think it's pretty nice segmentation there.
