I tested Meta's new SAM 2, and it seems to work quite smoothly. I uploaded a classic The Shining clip, clicked and selected Danny and his pedal car in one frame, and in a few seconds, the 10-second clip was tracked. After that I chose to make the boy and the car colored, but the background black and white. I think it's pretty nice segmentation there. Meta Llama 3 Breaks into Top 5 on Arena Leaderboard ???? Meta's Llama 3 70B Instruct model has achieved an impressive 1210 Elo rating and 12719 votes, placing it in the 5th position between GPT-4 0125 and Gemini Pro on the Arena Leaderboard. ?? But there's a catch in the license. ?? Meta grants rights to use, modify, and distribute Llama 3, but with some strings attached: ?? You must provide a copy of the agreement with any Llama materials ?? Prominently display "Built with Meta Llama 3" on related sites and docs ?? Include "Llama 3" at the beginning of any AI model names derived from it Why not a standard CC license? Meta wants fame and a bit of money. ?? If your products have over 700M monthly active users, you must request a separate license from Meta.?That's fair.
