High Rise living culture in Pakistan remains a limited phenomenon in Pakistan , mainly restricted to Karachi. Census 2023 counted close to 100,000 such households only (74,000 in purely residential towers and another 26,000 in residential + commercial towers). Karachi South had the highest proportion of households living in high rise structures but here too less than 10% households were living in tower like structures. Vertical living can solve major urban problems in the country as the urban sprawl has become ungovernable . There might be measurement errors in Census 2023 when it comes to this sort of classification so the findings should be used with caution.

**Who are the Druze in Israel?** The Druze community is a minority within Arab society in Israel alongside Christian and Muslim Arabs. Their population consists of about 150,000, with the vast majority residing in the north of Israel (98.3%) in 21 cities and villages. 25,000 members of the Druze community live in four central villages in the Golan Heights, half of them residing in Majdal Shams. Most Druze in Israel support Zionist-Jewish political parties, but in the recent elections (November 2022) only 25% of #Druze voted. At the turn of the year , we must aim to resolve the geographical inequality of fruits of economic growth in Pakistan. Below is distribution of households at Tehsil level reporting their house being built from mud or clay what the census takers called as kucha ghar. The large proportion of households from Balochistan reporting that and larger absence from other provinces is in continuation of various other indicators in which Balochistan province has lagged behind the rest. This is our collective failure and solution also lies in dealing with it collectively. There is little to be gained by pinning the blame . There much more to be gained from looking at future and fixing these gaps in our development trajectory. A High Court in Garissa has nullified the 2019 Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) census results for Wajir, Garissa, and Mandera counties, citing significant irregularities. The court ruled that the KNBS had not maintained essential data integrity standards, resulting in inaccurate population figures for these regions. #kenya #garissa #highcourt #censusresults #tradearlnews

Absolute truth. Caste census would create divisive lines whereas skill sensus inclusive. If the skill sets and skill levels are precisely known, the management principle of right person at right place can be effectively implemented. It will further help individual to work on enhancing their desired skill sets and be in the race.

?? "India, the land of diversity" Am sure, we all have heard this a million times. But their is one more phrase to quote here : "India the land of Castes". Caste System has a never ending debate. But their are some loopholes which i have discussed here that you should know, and how the demand of Caste Census and its need in today's India is very much a necessity. Changing social norms. Early marriages have as a trend gone down. However , its still prevalent in many social settings. 1.7 million girls in Pakistan between ages 15 to 19 are married. In Rural Balochistan where the practice is most common, close to a quarter girls of 15 to 19 age are married.
